SEMICON Taiwan 2024

Taiwan's largest annual semiconductor event "SEMICON Taiwan 2024 International Semiconductor Exhibition" will be held from 4th to 6th. 

Taiwanese semiconductor test interface company ProbeLeader Co., Ltd is also actively participating in this event. The products on display this year are MEMS probes cards,
 particle visualization equipment, AOI equipment, and final testing related consumables. 

In response to the rise of AI, CPU and GPU products have greater demand for clean room cleanliness than before. The Fine Particle Visualization equipment can dynamic 
detect the particle size ≧ 0.1um in the factory, find out the source and flow direction of particles which is different from the general static Particle Tools on the market.

In addition, AI edge computing will also drive the demand for sensors (CMOS Image Sensor, CIS). ProbeLeader Co., Ltd, which owns the patent for CIS probe cards, 
will exhibit a series of image sensor related products from CP testing to FT package including CIS MEMS probe card、CIS High Speed （2.5Gsps）probe card、CIS 
Package Inner Layer Defect AOI System。The biggest difference between CIS Package Inner Layer Defect AOI inspection equipment and general AOI is that this 
equipment can effectively detect inner layer defects, and can point out and distinguish the location of each layer defects (Under Glass, Sensor area).

This year ProbeLeader also demo a series consumables at the booth especially SiC substrates.

Although the supply and demand of the Wide Band Gap Semiconductors were unbalanced, SiC substrates have other applications, such as renewable energy, 
smart grids etc., so SiC substrates are also worthy of attention in the future.

equipment in recent years, as well as the agent sales of equipment materials and consumables. Jack Lai, general manager of ProbeLeader, believes that the economy is 
still recovering moderately this year and is cautiously optimistic about the second half of 2024. However, Mr. Jack Lai is optimistic about the economy in 2025. 
Therefore, in addition to strengthening the development of foreign customers, he is also planning to enter the fields of silicon photonics testing and AI area.
